Rolling Ray, whose original name was Raymond Harper reportedly passed away at the age of 28. Reportedly, his mom, who has a private account, confirmed the death of Rolling Ray through a post, while his cousin revealed being 'heartbroken' over the demise of his favourite person. Rolling Ray had suffered several health-related issues since his childhood.

Rolling Ray was wheelchair-bound since his childhood after he faced an accident in his early childhood. Following this, he faced a fire incident, followed by Covid-19 and pneumonia, and a coma. Rolling Ray's personal life: When he made his relationship official with his boyfriend

It was in 2021 that Rolling Ray made his relationship official with his boyfriend, Roland. Sharing a photo, he revealed that after dating for 8 months, he was making his relationship official with Roland. Sharing the post, Rolling Ray mentioned that he had been hiding his beau for several months, and then the Virgo and Pisces finally came out to make it official. Rolling Ray penned:

"That Virgo & Pisces! Thank you for coming out. I’ve been hiding you for over 8 months, MEET ROLLING & ROLAND."

According to a report by The Shade Room, Roland and Rolling were spotted at the airport in 2022. The report stated that the duo was seen getting cosy while at the airport. In the same year, Roland supported Rolling during his recovery from COVID-19. Roland then came on IG Live and dismissed the buzz about his beau's health condition, stating that the rapper was fine.

Everything was going fine until July 2025, when Rolling Ray dropped an Instagram post mentioning that he was officially single and would not be getting back together with Roland. He also clarified that there was no cheating angle between them, but things got pretty bad, and they hit a 'rough' patch.

Ray further mentioned that he and Roland had tried to rekindle their romance, but there was a whole lot of dirty laundry to wash at once, which they couldn't possibly sort out. He, in the IG post, wrote that breakups were never easy, but he would never publicly down-talk his ex as they shared deep love. Rolling Ray shared:

"Breakups are never easy. But I’d never publicly down-talk this man. Our love was too deep for that… Goodbye, Roland. Thank u for loving me & being there to save my life during COVID."

Rolling Ray was a famous rapper who gifted social media the famous catchphrase 'purrr'. Apart from being a rapper, he was an influencer, and icon for LGBTQ+ and disabled communities. He appeared on shows like Catfish: Trolls, Divorce Court, and Zeus Network’s Bobby I Love U, Purrr. It was on September 4, 2025, when Rolling Ray passed away at the age of 28. Just a day after this shocking incident, he was about to be 29. Sharing the news, his mom stated that her son had gone home to be with the lord. The official reason for Rolling Ray's death hasn't been disclosed yet.
