'Bigg Boss 9' Fame, Roopal Tyagi Gets Engaged To Nomish Bhardwaj In Goa, Reveals Wedding Date

Roopal Tyagi is a popular television actress, who is well known for her role, 'Gunjan' in the serial, Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke. For those who don't know, she became a household name when she participated in the reality show, Bigg Boss 9, and built a huge and loyal fanbase with her memorable journey. Well, the actress recently got engaged to longtime partner, Nomish Bhardwaj. Read on to know more about their wedding plans.

Roopal Tyagi flaunts her ring in latest engagement pictures

On November 16, 2025, TV actress, Roopal Tyagi took to her Instagram handle and announced her engagement with Nomish Bhardwaj. She shared a carousel of photos from Nomish's romantic proposal. Reportedly, the two got engaged in Goa. Roopal captioned the post as, "Just us… Just right! Yes.. Forever." In the photos shared online, Roopal looked absolutely gorgeous in a red backless dress, while Nomish looked dashing in a printed shirt. 

Roopal Tyagi reveals her wedding date

Apart from sharing the dreamy photos from her romantic proposal, the dancer-turned-actress gave an interview to Zoom, in which she opened up about her marriage plans. Talking about her wedding date, she revealed that she and Nomish are planning to get married on December 5, 2025 and the reception will be on December 8, 2025. She was quoted as saying:

"I never had a dream wedding (planned). I never planned anything like that in my head. That’s the only thing I was very keen on, that I wanted all the traditions and personalised. So, the wedding is a small ceremony, but the reception is… we’re inviting everybody for that. And it’s going to be in the Navy area, US club."

Where did Roopal Tyagi meet Nomish Bhardwaj?

During the same interview with Zoom, Bigg Boss 9 contestant, Roopal also opened up about her first meet with her now fiance, Nomish. She shared that even though Nomish hails from Mumbai, he works in Los Angeles. She continued to mention that the two met through common friends and for her, it was the first meeting itself, when she knew he was the one for her. In her words:

"What was strange at that time was the minute we met, it felt like ‘From day one, Oh my God! This is the person’. Which, to me, I never thought could actually happen to someone. It felt like it was just in the movies or something, but it was really beautiful."
