Rubina Dilaik is one of the most talented actresses in the television industry. The diva made her acting debut with the Zee TV drama series, Chotti Bahu. Apart from that, she also appeared in several series and reality shows. Moreover, it was her performance in Bigg Boss 14 that carved a space for the diva in people's hearts. In her personal life, Rubina is married to Abhinav Shukla, and they are parents to their two adorable twins, Edhaa and Jeeva. Rubina and Abhinav's twins are about to turn two months old within a few days, and ahead of that, their proud mumma talked about her postpartum journey.
A few days ago, Rubina took to her IG handle and posted a collage photo of her pregnancy days and postpartum phase. Sharing the photos, she treated us with a tidbit of her exercise routine during the postpartum phase. And now, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Rubina talked about the same and revealed that she has already lost 10 kgs, and she has to lose another 6 kgs. Sharing her exercise routine, Rubina mentioned how, along with yoga, gym, and pilates, she attempted her first headstand within just 36 days of her delivery. Rubina can be quoted as saying:
"I started my post-natal yoga on the 10th day of my delivery. I went to gymming on the 15th day, on the 33rd day I joined my pilates back, and on the 36th day of the surgery, I attempted my first headstand. I have already lost 10 kgs till now, 6 more to go."

Going further in the interview, Rubina Dilaik shared that she had been very active throughout her pregnancy journey despite the fact that she had certain discomfort about carrying twins. The actress also added that one needs to be mindful about their diet. Rubina shared how she was active during her whole pregnancy phase, which made her delivery easy and her transition to postpartum smooth. Rubina can be quoted as saying:
"You have to be mindful about your diet. My gynecologist had given me a go-ahead to stay active so I was pushing myself until the safety limit, which made my pregnancy smoother. In fact, my transition from pregnancy to postpartum was also easier then.”
In the same interview, Rubina also shared how postpartum can negatively affect 90 per cent of women and cause several health issues like diabetes, blood pressure and more. The actress also added that to avoid such a state, one should be very careful and aware of their health. Rubina once said, 'My body is my temple', which became a topic of laughter for a certain section of people. Moreover, the actress also talked about the same in the same interview. The actress revealed how she used to refrain from late-night parties, drinking, and eating junk food for her own well-being. Talking more about why she said, 'My body is my temple', Rubina stated:
"When I used to go out with my friends to chill outside, I used to abstain from late-night parties, indulging in drinking to have a fun time, having junk food and going for lunch and dinners on a regular basis. I used to refrain, saying that I may enjoy right now, but it is not going to be healthy for my body. Maine mazaak mai bola, ‘My body is my temple’, so everybody started laughing. I am not demeaning everyone, but I was just mindful of what goes in my body as it is going to reflect at a certain stage and age.”

It was on December 27, 2023, when Rubina took to her IG handle and posted a bunch of photos to announce their baby girls' arrival. In one of the photos, we could see the little ones peacefully sleeping in their parents' arms, while another photo featured one of their daughter's cutesy tiny hand as she was holding a flower bud. Another photo was a picture note, wherein their baby girls' names were written, while we spot glimpses of a havan in one of the photos. For those who don't know, Edhaa is Rubina and Abhinav's elder daughter, while Jeeva is the younger one, and they are non-identical twins.
