The duo had a very close and inseparable bond for many years but now have given the biggest shock to their fans. They have unfollowed one another on their Instagram handle which left everyone baffled. Srishty and Rubina's eagle-eyed fans noticed that both of them silently unfollowed one another from social media, leaving their followers confused. The duo had a bond thicker than blood and were there for each other when they started their career in the TV industry.

Rubina and Srishty's friendship dates back to the time when they were seen together on Zee's show, Choti Bahu. Over the years their friendship became very strong and it was evident via their social media handles. Apart from supporting each other even during their Bigg Boss days, it looks like now both of them reportedly are not on talking terms. A Redditor commented:

 "I think Shristi was Rubina's closest friend since 2013, as they did Punar Vivaah together. Since then they seemed inseparable always posting together on social media. Even during Bigg Boss, Rubina supported Shristi, and Shristi did the same for Rubina during BB14. Things seemed fine until KKK, after that they just stopped posting and talking to each other."

One user also commented, "Ikr, both were such good friends, don't know what happened. Shristy liked Rubina's post a few weeks ago but then Rubina cleared her following list and both unfollowed each other."

Now, neither Rubina nor Srishty have spoken about unfollowing one another. They have also not been seen together in social outings. There has been a section of netizens who think that the fallout happened as Srishti's ex, Manish Naggdev reportedly is good friends with Rubina and her husband, Abhinav Shukla. Reportedly, Srishty left Manish for Rohit Suchanti who played 'Gopi Bahu's' son in Saath Nibhana Saathiya. Some also feel that after 2023 Rubina and Srishty stopped being friends and sharing pictures.

According to a report by ETimes, Srishty had unfollowed Rubina earlier and later connected back. It was in 2021 when Srishty during a 'Ask me anything session' was asked about her spat with Rubina. A fan asked her after hearing that she and Rubina had a fight and both have not been friends. Srishty commented by saying:

When Rubina was in Bigg Boss 14, she had once taken a firm stand and refused to do a task assigned by Bigg Boss. She called the actress one of the strongest contestants and, in an interview with Pinkvilla, spoke about how she always knew to take her stand. Srishti shared:

"Rubina I know she has spoken for the right and will take a stand for something like this even in real life. It is not her fault but at the same time, it is not Bigg Boss’ fault either. The show is all about these things. In my season, cow dung was thrown at us, so that’s the format of the show. Whatever Rubina is in real life, is what she is inside the house."
