Bold accessories with shimmer dresses, sequined dresses, or busy patterns are a big ‘NO’ because everything will get mixed up and your jewellery will not stand out. It will make it look like one big mess. So, choose pieces for such dresses wisely. You can wear a statement ring or a bracelet with such dresses instead of a neckpiece. But, if you are wearing a little black dress, a plain monochrome outfit, white, neutral or block colour outfit, then you can experiment with various bright, big and colourful accessories. You can even try out neon neckpieces for such dresses. All in all, whatever you wear, make sure it complements your dress rather than making it look busy.

If you want to wear more accessories with your bold jewellery then opt for some smaller pieces that will go well with your statement piece. Just remember to keep other accessories to the minimum and opt for same colour or metal jewellery.

Earrings are the first thing that will get noticed, so choose it wisely according to your face shape and dress colour. Also, style your hair according to the length and pattern of your earrings. For example, with dangling statement earrings it is best to keep your hair sleek, tied up or with loose waves as it will balance your look. Other thing which you should keep in mind is to make sure that your makeup complements your earrings. Instead of loud makeup with bold earrings, opt for simple and clean makeup to get the look right.
