The wedding season is back in India. After the grand wedding of Disha Parmar and Rahul Vaidya, it is celebration time for Indian screenwriter, Rumi Jaffrey as his daughter, Alfia, is all set to tie the knot. The wedding celebrations had kickstarted with a haldi ceremony on July 31, 2021. After a grand haldi bash, the family hosted a mehendi ceremony for the bride-to-be, Alfia.
For her haldi ceremony, Alfia had donned a gorgeous yellow ensemble. She had accessoried her look with floral yellow maang teeka, and matching earrings. Her look was accentuated with minimal makeup. For the celebration, Rhea Chakraborty was also spotted in a yellow ensemble.
On August 5, 2021, Rumi Jaffrey hosted a mehendi ceremony for his daughter, Alfia. The gorgeous bride-to-be donned a multicoloured lehenga in yellow, pink and blue. However, the highlight of her entire look was her bejewelled choli with tasselled-sleeves. Her look was accentuated with pink-dewy makeup, and perfectly lined eyes. A few days ago, Alfia had penned an emotional note for her entire family. Sharing an emotional video, she had written, "As this month ends this an appreciation post for the most important people in my life, my friends, my extended family, my whole world, these people have supported me and stood by me, picked me up when I was low! Danced, ate, cried and laughed. I am the luckiest girl to have the most wonderful and loving people in my life who’ve taken care of me and given me unconditionally love and affection my whole life and specially this month when I was my most vulnerable self the most patient and amazing family of mine! I love y’all so much! I’m gonna miss y’all."
On July 17, 2021, Alfia had shared a beautiful post, wherein she had thanked her friends for hosting an amazing bachelorette bash for her. For the crazy party, Alfia had donned a gorgeous shimmery-sequinned blue dress. Alongside it, she had written, "Last night! I can’t thank you two enough for doing everything y’all have done for me in the last couple of months. And this #bachelorette would’ve been nothing without the people who mean the entire world to me and fill my heart up with all the LOVE y’all have given me always."
