Television actress, Rupali Ganguly is winning hearts with her role as 'Anupama' in the serial, Anupamaa. Rupali is deeply rooted in her humble upbringing, and she makes sure to pass it on to her son, Rudransh. Not only this, fans eagerly wait to know Rupali's love story with Ashwin K Verma.
A while ago, Rupali Ganguly made an appearance on YouTuber, Ranveer Allahbadia's podcast. The YouTuber shared a video of the podcast on his IG handle. In the clip, Ranveer asked Rupali about her love story, and she was left blushing like a schoolgirl. Rupali revealed that she met Ashwin during her struggling days. She got a call for an advertisement, and he was the client.

On the sets, when Ashwin saw her decked up as an old woman, he instantly told Rupali that he won't mind growing old with someone like her. The first thought that strikes Rupali's mind was, 'Yeh toh line maar raha hai.'
Rupali further revealed that Ashwin didn't even propose to her, and it was she who asked him to marry her. Rupali also added that she cannot imagine getting married to someone else than her husband and wants to spend the rest of her life with Ashwin.

In an interview with The Times of India, Rupali talked about her hush-hush wedding. She called it a super-fast one and hilarious. Rupali shared that they had decided to get married all of a sudden. While they wanted to have a registered wedding at her place, her father wanted to perform kanyadaan, and at the last moment, they called a pandit to perform the ritual.
Rupali further shared that the pandit got late and reached late in the evening. She also shared another hilarious detail of how her husband, Ashwin had parked in a no-entry lane and was fined by the police. Rupali also revealed that Ashwin had attended their wedding in a shirt and a pair of pants. Rupali had said:
"I had asked a designer friend to get a blue blouse with my red sari and we waited for the pandit who did not reach till late evening. Ashwin entered a 'no entry' lane and he was fined by the police. It was hilarious how finally Ashwin landed at my home and the pandit started chanting the mantras from the ground floor till he came to my flat. In total, I had around 99 people at my wedding. Ashwin came dressed in a shirt and jeans and then the kanyadan happened and we exchanged garlands. Our wedding was over in few minutes."
