Rupali Ganguly is one of the famous faces in the television world. The actress began her career back in 2004 with the sitcom Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai and went on to appear in several TV and reality shows. Moreover, it was her comeback with the series, Anupamaa that made her a household name. Anupamaa is one of the leading shows on television now, and it often makes it to the headlines for one reason or another. Recently, the audition video of the lead actress, Rupali, went viral online.
Recently, an old video of Rupali Ganguly from her audition for Anupamaa made rounds on social media. In the clip, she could be seen acting in her role as Anupamaa, and talking to her daughter, Pihu. The clip has garnered much attention, and Rupali can be seen acing in her role as Anupamaa. For the unversed, Rupali has won the hearts of her fans with her popular role in the serial, and her audition clip is proof of the fact that the actress has been the perfect cast for the show.

In a conversation with Ranveer Alhabadia, Rupali Ganguly shared that she was sceptical about whether she would be cast in the show, as she troubled the director, Rajan Shahi, much on her first show with him. Rupali revealed that she misbehaved with Rajan Shahi back in the early days of her career. Well, Rajan asked Rupali if she had grown up, and the actress replied affirmatively. Rupali revealed that she didn't know the show's name until the trailer was launched.
As per several reports, Rupali Ganguly used to earn Rs. 30,000-35,000 per episode from her hit serial, Anupamaa. However, the show was loved by the viewers, which made it popular instantly. Well, if the reports are to be followed, then Rupali Ganguly generally takes Rs. 3 lakhs per episode for her role in Anupamaa.

In an interview with CNBC, Rupali Ganguly shared that she has picked up a lot of stuff from Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Talking more about the same, Rupali added that the way the PM holds onto the Gujarati roots and speaks in Hindi, which also has a pre-dominant Gujarati accent, inspired her to bring it in the serial, Anupamaa. The actress also revealed that she had a Gujarati neighbour, who influenced her to the accent even more firmly.
Earlier, in an interview with CNBC, Rupali said that she was looked down upon as she was working on television and it made her feel like an outcast. The actress revealed that she didn't care about other people's opinions as back then her focus was to run her house.
