Ruslaan Mumtaz and Nirali Mehta’s love story is not less than any fairytale. He used to stand outside a tree outside their dancing class with his friends when he first saw Nirali and had instantly fallen in love with her. It was their dance guru, Shiamak Davar, who had played Cupid between the two and in the year 2014, the two had gotten married to each other and had begun the journey of their ‘happily ever after’. The couple had completed six years of marital bliss and has now entered the beautiful phase of parenthood.
It was amidst COVID-19 lockdown when Ruslaan and Nirali welcomed their baby boy. In an interview with Bombay Times, Ruslaan talked about how they managed the delivery of his baby despite the lockdown. Talking about the same, he stated, “It was a normal delivery and the baby was born at 4 am on Thursday. Around 9 pm on Wednesday, Nirali went into labour and all of us panicked because we had to rush from our Juhu home to the hospital, which is located at Marine Lines. Due to social distancing, we didn’t take any of our family members with us. We did not see a single person on the road and it was quite eerie. I was scared that we might be stopped by the police, but luckily, nothing happened and we reached the hospital in half an hour. Nirali’s father, who is a radiologist at the hospital, was already waiting for us when we reached. The hospital was also empty, with only the staff members present. Thankfully, everything went smooth and we are parents to a lovely baby boy.” (Also Read: Geeta Phogat Shares Her Son, Arjun Saroha's Favourite Feeding Position As He Turns Three-Month-Old)

Posting the first pictures, the proud daddy had written, “26-03-2020: CHOTA BABY HAS ARRIVED I was going to avoid uploading any of my baby's pictures for atleast 3,4 months but given the current gloom and doom in the world right now I think news of a chota baby will only brighten your day. I genuinely do believe that babies born in times when the world is going through a rough patch come here for a reason. So I'm hoping my chota baby is a super hero born in difficult times and in time will make this world even more beautiful than he already is. I hope and pray the world becomes a better place for us, our parents and our children.”
