Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi was born with a silver spoon and had become a pioneering figure in India's rich cricketing heritage. He had found his sapnon ki rani in Sharmila Tagore, the leading and the most versatile Bollywood actress of her time, and the couple had tied the knot in 1969. They are blessed with three children, Saif Ali Khan (1970), Saba Ali Khan (1976) and Soha Ali Khan (1978). Their daughter, Saba, is an avid social media user, and her IG feed is filled with lovely snippets of her family. She has once again shared a rare gem from her personal album with her fans.
For the unversed, Saba Ali Khan is a jewellery designer by profession and a mutawalli (Chief Trustee) of the Auqaf-e-Shahi (Royal Trust) established by the princely state of Bhopal as a royal charitable endowment. However, the gorgeous diva is never spotted in the big parties and get-togethers as she prefers to stay away from the limelight.

A few moments ago, Saba Ali Khan took to her IG handle and shared a candid picture of her late father, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, lifting her brother, Saif Ali Khan, on his shoulders. In the picture, young Saif looked delighted, and he couldn't stop smiling as his father lifted him. Along with the picture, Saba penned a note and shared that she has the original picture in their family album. Sharing the picture on her Instagram story, atop it, Saba wrote:
“This is an online pic…but we have the original in an old album. Full version too. It's my favourite. Abba with bhai on his shoulders!”
Well, this is not the first time that Saba took a trip down the memory lane and made us nostalgic. On January 17, 2022, Saba had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted a beautiful picture of her nephew, Ibrahim. In the photo, baby Ibrahim was cuddled in his father, Saif's arms, while his sister, Sara, was posing next to him. Alongside it, Saba had written:
"Posers. Family pic mode ON!"

Once in an interview with The Indian Express, Saif Ali Khan had talked about his famous parents, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and Sharmila Tagore. The actor had shared how his parents never acted like superstars despite being popular in their respective fields. He had said:
“My parents were superstars but they didn’t behave like that. And it’s very easy to take yourself too seriously, whether it’s about having a bunch of bodyguards around or that vibe. You can’t blame somebody who doesn’t know any better. You just don’t have to get carried away by success.”
During his appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show, Saif Ali Khan had revealed how he had not taken up cricket like his father, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, but had quite a few things in common with him, like their love for books. Saif had said:
"One day my father was alone at home and everyone was out shooting, my mother, me, and everyone. As no one was there at home I called him up and asked him if he is okay, are you feeling lonely? So, he said I am not lonely; I have my books with me. So, I liked that sentiment a lot and you know, even I feel the same way. I like books a lot."
On the work front, Saif Ali Khan was last seen in the film, Bhoot Police.
