On April 12, 2021, Saba Ali Khan had shared a gem of a memory of her brother, Saif Ali Khan, with their mother, Sharmila Tagore. In the monochrome picture, a teenage Saif could be seen posing with his mother, a young and evidently graceful Sharmila ji.
On April 17, 2021, Saba took to her IG handle and shared a framed monochrome picture with her siblings. In the picture, little Saif can be seen standing behind her toddler sisters, Saba and Soha. Alongside the picture, Saba wrote, "Siblings. We have each others back..... Hmmmm.... Ok .. I Have their back! Aren't they lucky..to have a sister called Saba ...?!!" For the unversed, Saba Ali Khan is a jewellery designer by profession and a mutawalli (Chief Trustee) of the Auqaf-e-Shahi (Royal Trust) established by the princely state of Bhopal royal charitable endowment. Saba is rarely seen at parties and get-togethers as she prefers to stay away from the limelight, but now, thanks to social media, we often get to see her pictures on her profile.
In 2009, at the launch of the jewellery store, Opulence, for which Saba Ali Khan had designed a collection that Soha Ali Khan had showcased on the ramp, the Pataudi sisters had spoken about their family in an interview with HT City. Though Saif Ali Khan and Soha get along really well as they stay in the same city, Saba too, has her special moments with him. Saba had said, “We are very proud of our brother, he has accomplished a lot in his life.” However, Soha had described Saif as “adventurous… giving our parents headaches.”
