Far from all the limelight and glamour, Sabeer found his life partner in a family friend. The tech-millionaire fell in love with his family friend, Tanya Sharma, who belongs to the Baidyanath Group.

Sabeer thought about his mother's advice, and after some conversation with Tanya, the millionaire was convinced that he would like to spend the rest of his life with her.

Once Sabeer Bhatia and Tanya Sharma were ready to take the plunge, their families sat down and started their wedding process. The couple got engaged in December 2007, which was followed by a lavish wedding in Malaysia. On March 9, 2008, Sabeer and Tanya married on the famous island of Langkawi in Malaysia. Around 270 dignitaries were invited to the wedding. According to a report in The Times Of India, Sabeer took over the entire island of Langkawi for their lavish wedding.

She is the heiress of Baidyanath Group, which is the sister company of Goodcare Pharma. Talking about Tanya's strong educational background, she is a management graduate from Mumbai's S P Jain Institute and has also pursued a course from the London School of Economics.

It was in 2013 when Sabeer Bhatia and Tanya Sharma filed for divorce due to a series of irreconciable issues in their marriage. The ex-lovers ended their marriage after just five years without creating any public drama in the media. The couple got divorced in a court in San Francisco, and their daughter, Arianna, was too young to understand what was happening between her parents. After their divorce, Arianna's custody rights were given to her mother, Tanya Sharma, and since then, not much has been known about them in the media. Sabeer also remained single and continued focusing on the professional front. The technologist is currently leading an AI-powered learning platform, ShowReel.
