Television actress, Mouni Roy had tied the knot with her boyfriend, Suraj Nambiar on January 27, 2022, in Goa. The couple had two weddings as per Malayali and Bengali rituals to respect each other's cultures. The actress had trusted ace designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee for her wedding lehenga. While we were mesmerised by Mouni's bridal avatar, some fans were not happy with it. And, they trolled Sabyasachi for the same.
On January 28, 2022, Mouni Roy had taken to her IG handle and had shared the first pictures with her husband, Suraj Nambiar, from their Bengali wedding. The pictures had featured the adorable couple performing their wedding rituals at their wedding mandap. While one picture had shown the then-bride and groom posing happily with each other, in the other one, Suraj could be seen applying sindoor on Mouni's head. However, the picture that had swooned our hearts was the one, in which Suraj could be seen kissing Mouni on her cheeks. Sharing the photos, Mouni had penned a Sanskrit shlok for the caption.

A few moments back, ace designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee's official page shared a series of pictures featuring Mouni Roy in her bridal avatar. In the picture, Mouni looked gorgeous as ever in a Sabyasachi lehenga, and we were in awe of her. Sharing the pictures, Sabyasachi wrote:
"Bride Mouni Roy @imouniroy in Sabyasachi for her wedding in Goa."
However, some fans were not happy with Mouni's bridal look at her Bengali wedding. They took to the comment section of the post and started trolling Sabyasachi Mukherjee for his designs. While one user wrote, "Deepika's lehnga. Nothing new", another one took to the comment section to write, "Sabya is such a lazy designer now lol no innovation. Every bride looks like a copy of the other. The brides look gorgeous because they ARE gorgeous. Sabya has no credit in that." On January 28, 2022, Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar had hosted a grand post-wedding sangeet celebration. For the ceremony, Mouni had donned a beautiful golden lehenga. She had kept her makeup subtle with curly open tresses. And, we had stumbled upon a video from Mouni and Suraj's sangeet night, and we couldn't get enough of it. In the video, the newlyweds could be seen cutting a 3-tier wedding cake, which had featured red and white roses adorned on the white frosting.
