Desi weddings are fun! From sisters-in-law having the legal right to steal the groom’s shoe and getting paid for it, to aunties dancing like crazy in baarat, Asian weddings are much more than just delicious foods. One more highlight of D-day is the bride and groom’s gorgeous wedding ensemble.

Every girl dreams of the big day since her childhood, and to make it a hit, she curates some unique ensembles from the best designers available. Be it a saree, a lehenga or a western outfit, today’s brides, try it all in their wedding festivities. And our Pakistani bride of the week had done something similar. She had picked ace designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee's designed lehengas for her mehendi and wedding party, nani ka joda for nikaah, and her pre-wedding and reception outfits were from two more designer labels.

Meet the bride of the week, Sawab Husnain, who had got married in Lahore, Pakistan. For the wedding party, the bride had picked a sindoori red lehenga from the ace designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee's bridal couture. Her outfit was topped off with delicate hand-cut organza flowers, french knots in silk floss and layers of thread work. It had also featured a V-neck shaped choli, a ballgown-esque skirt and double dupattas. One sheer dupatta was beautifully pleated like a shawl on one of her shoulders, while the other one was neatly put over her crown.

The bride had accessorised her look with a pearl beaded statement neckpiece, a choker, matching earrings, a minimal maang teeka and stone studded bangles. However, it was her make-up that had added more glamour to her look. Her make-up artist, Madu, had given her cheeks a rosy tint with smudged smokey eyes, a nudish pink lip colour, mascara laden lashes and perfectly filled eyebrows to finish off her bridal look.

She had styled her look with big dangling gold earrings and a statement bangle. She had accentuated her pre-bridal look with cut crease eyeshadow, highlighted make-up and dark lips. Her tresses were neatly tied into a braided bun.
