Sabyasachi Mukherjee Reacted To Underprivileged Children Copying His Bridal Wear To Make Their Own

Sabyasachi Mukherjee is the king when it comes to designing bridal wear. His designs are extremely popular among girls who want to have at least one of his traditional outfits in their closet. It seems that he is the most loved designer, not just for urban people but also for underprivileged kids. Yes, and they have been making their own bridal wear inspired by the ace designer's popular collection.

Sabyasachi Mukherjee responded to underprivileged kids making their own bridal outfits inspired by his collection

On November 6, 2024, Sabyasachi Mukherjee stumbled upon a video posted by the Instagram handle, Innovation For Change. In the clip, the non-profit organisation showcased the talents of underprivileged kids who made outfits inspired by Sabyasachi Mukherjee's collection. 

They tried re-creating the same design with kiran border. Not only this, the kids even aced his famous models' iconic walks. They even styled the bridal wear and wore glares with it. While some may not understand the efforts these kids put in, Sabyasachi Mukherjee did.

He not only commented with a heart emoji on the video but also re-shared it on his Instagram handle. This was a fantastic way for the ace designer to let the world know about these underprivileged children and their design dreams. Reposting the video, Sabyasachi wrote:

"And the winner is…"

Let us inform you that many on social media were unable to understand why Sabyasachi Mukherjee reposted a mock campaign. After this, the NGO explained in the comments that these are underprivileged kids from Lucknow who are making these clothes from old ones, which they got as donations. The NGO commented:

"Ye bus repost nahi hai ye bacche purane kapadse se banate hai ye kapade, sab slum kk bacche hai ye bahoot badi cheez hai thank u so much."

The NGO further explained that these kids are just twelve to seventeen years old. They also added that the kids shot the video on there without proper learning. They belong to a low background, yet they were able to achieve a lot. The NGO further stated that they are not promoting any marriage, and it was just to showcase their talent despite facing the ordeals of life.
