Who Is Sachin Sanghvi's Wife, Sheetal? 45-Yr-Old Music Composer Arrested For False Marriage Promise

Sachin Sanghvi has reportedly been arrested after a 29-year-old singer claimed that he sexually assaulted her and misled her with his false marriage promises. For those who don't know, Sachin Sanghvi is famous for his music composition in Bollywood films such as Bhediya, Maalik, Param Sundari, Go Goa Gone, and many more. He is Sachin of the music composer duo, Sachin-Jigar. While we all know about his professional accolades, not much is known about his personal life.

Sachin Sanghvi is married to Sheetal Sanghvi

For those who don't know, the 45-year-old Sachin Sanghvi has been married to Sheetal Sanghvi. While Sachin's Instagram is not visible amid reports of his arrest, Sheetal has a private IG account. The couple also has a daughter, named Tanishkaa. Their daughter has also followed her father's footsteps and ventured into entertainment industry as a singer.

Sachin Sanghvi reportedly arrested for sexual assualt

A 29-year-old singer from Vile Parle East, Mumbai, has registered the FIR against Sachin Sanghvi. She claimed that she met Sachin through Instagram in February 2024. The music composer has praised her voice and offered her work opportunities in his album, Rang. After which, they exchanged numbers to discuss work. 

Sachin then invited the young girl to his Santacruz West Studio, where they kept meeting. Sachin shared details of his personal life and claimed that he was facing marital issues and had a troubled marriage. Not only this, he falsely promised the young girl that he would divorce his wife and marry her. But soon, he started avoiding her questions about marriage. 

The victim further claimed that by April 2024, Sachin allegedly established an intimate relationship with her at his Santacruz studio. He kept faking his love and marriage promise. She went on to claim that on May 28, 2024, when his family was abroad, he invited her to his residence where he further engaged in physical relations with her. 

The 29-year-old victim further claimed that their physical relationship began during their trip to Budapest and other European locations in June 2025. They even engaged in the same at the studio and in a car in Vile Parle East. The victim claimed that on July 19, 2025, she found compromising photos and chats of Sachin with another woman on his phone, which led to arguments. Despite a work trip to Dubai, he maintained the relationship with another girl against her will. It was on August 4, 2025, the victim reportedly found out that she was pregnant with Sachin Sanghvi's child. 

However, Sachin, after meeting her and his wife at a Santacruz cafe, forced her to have an abortion. He even threatened to leak her photos and videos. Under pressure, she took pills to abort the baby, which were ineffective. Later, she underwent an abortion surgery. Post abortion, Sachin blocked her contact number and left her in depression and in pain. According to reports, the two's last meeting was at a clinic on October 10, 2025, where he told her straightaway not to trouble him and refused to meet her again. 

Sachin Sanghvi's lawyer's take on the case

It is worth mentioning that after Sachin was arrested and released on bail in the sexual assault case, his lawyer revealed that there was no merit to the allegations against him. His lawyer Aditya Mithe revealed:

"The allegations in the FIR against my client are absolutely baseless and unsubstantiated. There are absolutely no merits to the case. My client’s detention by the police was illegal and that is the reason why he was released on bail immediately. We intended to defend all allegations fully and unequivocally."
