The cricketing legend, the God of cricket, who had changed the dynamics of the game for the country and who used to haunt great bowlers of his time, Sachin Tendulkar turned 48 today. Sachin Tendulkar's birthday is no less than a festival for cricket fanatics. Social media is filled with congratulatory messages for the great cricketer.

Sachin Tendulkar took to his IG handle to thank his fans for the loads and loads of lovely birthday wishes and shared a video expressing his gratitude. He captioned the video as "Thank you everyone for your warm wishes. It's made my day special. I am very grateful indeed. Take care and stay safe."
Sachin Tendulkar's daughter, Sara Tendulkar took to her IG stories and gave a glimpse of his outside birthday celebrations. We can see various mouth-watering delicacies as Sara pans the camera on the lunch table. Atop the video, she wrote, "Happy Birthday @sachintendulkar."
On Sachin Tendulkar's 47th birthday last year, Sara had shared two Instagram stories for her father. In one of the Instagram stories, she had shared a childhood picture with her 'daddy dearest', Sachin and had captioned it as "Happy Birthday". The second picture had featured the father-daughter duo posing happily for the camera. Sara had written, "I love you atop it."
On May 26, 2020, Sachin Tendulkar and Anjali Tendulkar had celebrated 25 years of marital life. On this special occasion, Sachin had donned the chef’s hat and surprised his wife and kids by making mango kulfi to mark the 25th anniversary. Sharing the recipe as an IGTV on Instagram, Sachin captioned his anniversary special video as “A (mango emoji) Surprise for our Wedding Anniversary. Made this Mango Kulfi as a surprise for everyone at home on our 25th wedding anniversary.”

Sachin Tendulkar had bid adieu to the world of cricket in 2013. During his farewell speech at the Wankhede Stadium in 2013, an emotional Sachin Tendulkar had stated, “I know Anjali being a doctor, there was a wonderful career in front of her. When we decided to have a family, Anjali decided to step back and say ‘you continue with your cricket and I’ll take responsibility of the family’. Without that, I don’t think I would have been able to play cricket freely and without any stress. Thanks for bearing with all my fuss and frustrations and all sorts of rubbish I’ve spoken. You’re the best partnership I’ve had in my life.”
Sachin is a dotting daddy, who loves his kids and makes sure to teach them the right lessons of life. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Sachin had shared the important lessons, he tries to teach his kids. He had said, "I tell Sara and Arjun that too. Value whatever you have got. If you are complaining about things you don’t have, trust me, even at 80 you will be doing the same and life will pass you by. Each one has his own share. God fixes a quota of things for everyone. You can’t have everything always. It is important to make the most of what is allotted to you. I have enjoyed every stage of my life. I am happy where I am, and thankful to God for blessing me with so much."
