Almost 31 years ago, on November 15, 1989, a 16-year-old boy was handed his maiden Test cap and that was the start of his glorious cricketing career with his debut match against Pakistan. He has set a record for being the youngest Indian ever to do so, and that young boy is none other than the master blaster, 'Sachin Tendulkar'. He is celebrated as cricket God all over the world and everyone knows that he is one of a kind. But he became from 'Sachin Tendulkar' to 'The Sachin Tendulkar' because of his parents' support and hard work.
On June 1, 2020, Sachin took to his Instagram handle and penned a note for his parents on Global Day of Parents. He posted a throwback monochrome picture with them from his young days. Alongside it, he wrote, "The unconditional love, support and attention that our parents showered on us as we were growing up laid our foundation as individuals. In my life too, the support and guidance from my parents helped me become the person I am today. In these challenging times, our parents need us more than ever. It’s our responsibility to take care of them & even more so now during these tough times." Check it out below:
