Sachin Tendulkar's 'Bahu', Saaniya Makes 1st Appearance After Marriage, Greets Nita Ambani At NMACC

Recently, Nita Ambani and Mukesh Ambani hosted a celebration at Nita Mukesh Ambani Culture Centre. The event was attended by several dignitaries, and Sachin Tendulkar also marked his presence with his family. However, all eyes were on the new member of the Tendulkar family — Saaniya Chandok, wife of Arjun Tendulkar.

In a clip shared by paparazzo Viral Bhayani, Sachin Tendulkar and Anjali Tendulkar arrived with their daughter, Sara Tendulkar and daughter-in-law, Saaniya Chandok. The Tendulkar ladies were dressed in a glistening ensemble and looked gorgeous. In the clip, Anjali Tendulkar was talking to Nita Ambani, and she quickly introduced Sara and Saaniya to her. Nita Ambani hugged Saaniya and then Sara and asked them to pose for the photographers. It is worth mentioning that Arjun Tendulkar was missing from the event. 

All about Arjun Tendulkar and Saniya Chandok's relationship

On August 13, 2025, reports of Arjun Tendulkar's engagement with Saaniya Chandok surfaced on the internet. The reports claim that it was a private affair. The ceremony was attended by close family and friends of the couple. However, neither Tendulkar nor the Ghai families gave any official statement regarding the same. 

According to media outlets, Arjun Tendulkar and Saaniya Chandok have been friends since childhood, and there are several photos of the couple. Not only this, Saaniya even shares a great bond with Arjun Tendulkar's sister, Sara Tendulkar. The two were spotted attending a wedding together earlier this year.

The couple got married on March 5, 2026, as per Marathi rituals. The theme of the wedding was a celebration of Punjabi and Marathi culture. For the wedding day, Saaniya opted for a red-hued saree with golden-detailing. She wore it as a nauvari drape. Another highlight of her Marathi look was the way she styled chooda with Maharashtrian bride's traditional green bangles. She chose to leave her open with a gajra adorned at the back. She accessorised her look with a neckpiece and a matching maang teeka. On the other hand, Arjun was dressed up in a red-hued matching sherwani.

Saaniya Chandok is the granddaughter of Mumbai's famous businessman, Ravi Ghai. Unlike other Gen-Z kids, Saaniya likes to keep a low public profile, despite coming from one of Mumbai's most influential families. The Ghai family have a strong presence in the hospitality and food industries. They are known for owning the InterContinental hotel and the popular ice-cream parlour Brookly Creamery.

While Sania hails from a rich business family, her dreams are quite distinguished. She is the founder of the luxury pet spa, Mr. Paws. It is the first pet spa in India which offers treatments ranging from Korean Microbubbles therapy to CO2 Japanese hydrotherapy for dogs and cats in Mumbai. 

After finishing her education in business management from the London School of Economics, she returned to India and started spreading her wings in the growing pet industry. She owns three pet dogs and understands the need for a furbaby, which is more than just providing food. Apart from her entrepreneurial vision, Saaniya is also certified as a Veterinary Technician. She has completed the ABC program from WVS.
