Saif And Kareena's Different Statements On Attack Raise Questions, They May Give Joint Statement

Saif Ali Khan's attack has left everyone shocked. For the unversed, Saif Ali Khan was stabbed on January 16, 2025, in his Bandra apartment. As per the initial reports, the attacker, who was from Bangladesh, started fighting with Saif after he confronted him, and in the process, the actor got hurt, which left him with six wounds, two of them being major. The actor had to go through several surgeries, and he was discharged after six days. After being discharged, Saif was seen as stable, and he also recorded his statement. As Saif's alleged statement went viral, it raised questions, for being different than Kareena's statements.

As per a report by Moneycontrol, the investigators may consider taking a joint statement from Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan as the discrepancies in statements ended up raising questions. Reportedly, Saif Ali Khan has revealed in this statement that he and Kareena heard the screaming of Jeh's nanny in the 11th floor, and rushed to the scene, where he tried to stop the attacker so that the little one and his nanny could slip past.

Saif Ali Khan added that when he was trying to stop the attacker, the latter started stabbing him, but the actor managed to push him inside a room. On the other hand, Kareena Kapoor Khan, in her statement, reportedly said that she came down from the 12th floor and found that Saif was also already fighting with the intruder. Well, such differences in their statements raised questions, and as per a report by Moneycontrol, the investigators may ask the actors to sit for a joint statement to get clarification about the timelines.

The same report also shared how earlier it was being said that Taimur was the one who took Saif to the hospital, while police recently remarked that Afsar Zaidi accompanied Saif to the hospital on the night he was attacked, which again left the public to raise questions. When Afasr was asked to comment on the same, he declined to do so.

Political leader, Waris Pathan asked for clarification from the police 

On the other hand, Political leader Waris Pathan took to his social media handle and shared a clip, wherein he was seen asking police to clarify the doubts that people have in their minds. In the video, which he has shared on X (previously Twitter), he questioned how that intruder could climb the 12th floor. He also asked how after a major surgery, Saif could walk in a jolly way. He added that they all would pray for the actor's recovery, but the police, and the actor's family should come forward and clarify the doubts people have in their minds.
