Saif Ali Khan And Kareena Step Out For The First Time After Stabbing Incident With Tight Security

Bollywood actor, Saif Ali Khan was brutally attacked late into the night at his Bandra residence sustaining six stab wounds, two of them being more severe. However, the industry breathed a sigh of relief upon knowing that the actor was now out of danger. Saif was released from Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital on January 21, 2025. Now, the actor was spotted for the first time, stepping out of his Bandra residence, accompanied by his wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan under heavy security.

On the morning of January 26, 2025, Saif Ali Khan was seen stepping out of his Bandra residence, the same building where the actor was stabbed by the intruder during the wee hours of January 19, 2025. This time, he was seen stepping alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan, and the couple were surrounded by tight security.

In some videos shared by paparazzo accounts, Saif was seen wearing a navy blue t-shirt, denim jeans, and sunglasses, flanked by security personnel. Kareena, donning a casual grey sweatshirt, black joggers, and a cap, walked ahead as the couple entered their car. A convoy of security vehicles followed them, reflecting the heightened caution surrounding Saif’s safety. A few hours later, Saif’s elder son, Ibrahim Ali Khan was also seen visiting his father during his recovery phase.

Saif Ali Khan was seen donning a brave phase after being released from the hospital

After sustaining serious stab injuries on his neck and near his spine, Saif underwent emergency surgery to take out a piece of knife that was lodged in his back. The actor was released from Lilavati Hospital on January 21, 2025, and many netizens were astonished at how fit the actor tried to look when meeting the paps outside his residence.

Saif also received some backlash online as many questioned the severity of his injuries and labelled the incident as a PR stunt. Amid the criticism, actress, Pooja Bhatt came forward to defend Saif, praising his resilience. Pooja was quoted as saying:

"The graphic details of the stabbing that emerged in the media painted an image in people's heads about Saif's physical state. That image was perhaps not in sync with the visuals of seeing him walk out of hospital on his own two feet."

Saif and Kareena’s statements to the police did not match

According to a report by Moneycontrol, investigators might seek a joint statement from Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan due to some discrepancies in their statements to the Mumbai Police. Saif stated that he and Kareena heard screams from Jeh's nanny and rushed to intervene, with Saif confronting the attacker. However, Kareena claimed she arrived from the 12th floor to find Saif already fighting the intruder. The differing timelines have raised questions, prompting investigators to seek clarification.

Well, it definitely feels like a relief to see Saif Ali Khan recovering so quickly from the terrifying stabbing incident.
