Did you just do a silent ‘awww’? We sure did! Just recently, Taimur was snapped with daddy, Saif and the daddy-son duo was out for a game of badminton. As little Taimur tried his hands swinging the badminton racquet against the air, Saif was amused by Taimur’s attempts in this sport. When Kareena was asked what profession, she would like to choose for Taimur, she retorted, “I wouldn’t want to choose, I hope he chooses.” She then added, “Well, I would want Taimur to be a cricketer.”
For the uninitiated ones, Taimur Ali Khan’s paternal grandfather, Late Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi was the former captain of the Indian cricket team. When further asked what she would like Taimur to achieve in his career, Kareena replied, "I would like him to do something with his life and then I would like people to appreciate him. He is still very small and he should actually be given a chance rather than having so much of this kind of pressure that is already on him. It is so scary."

Saif Ali Khan, who was last seen in the Netflix India original web series, Sacred Games, sported a beard look for his role. Speaking about how his beard became the reason why Kareena and Taimur won’t kiss him, Saif said in an interview with Rajeev Masand, “She says she likes it and Taimur pulls it very hard but neither of them has kissed me a lot of late. If I ask Taimur to kiss my hand, he will do so. If I ask him to kiss my face, he just tilts his head on my cheek. The same scenario happens with the missus as well.” (Also Read: Karan Johar Gives A Nod To Daughter Roohi Already If She Wants To Date Taimur Ali Khan In The Future)
In another interview, Saif revealed that Taimur has started talking and everyone is enjoying this phase of the little one. Saif was quoted as saying, “He has learnt a few new words. He calls me ‘abba’ and has now started to say ‘baby’ and ‘gum’. Whenever he sees a chewing gum, he would just scream ‘gum’. He likes to watch the moon, so I sit with him in my office and show him the moon.”
Saif Ali Khan, his sister, Soha Ali Khan and wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan has time and again expressed their concern towards the constant media badgering around their kids, Taimur Ali Khan and Inaaya Naumi Kemmu. Bebo, once stated in an interview, “I don’t like that at all, neither does Saif. As parents we are scared. I’d want my son to grow up as normally as possible. Saif’s even more particular about this. He wants Taimur to grow up, away from the eye of the paparazzi and the film scenario. Because Saif himself didn’t grow up in a film atmosphere, although his mother was an actress. His father (the late Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi) as we know, belonged to the cricketing world. But in today’s time it’s tough. But I do wish he didn’t get photographed as much.”
Even Soha made a request to the paparazzi, and said, "I feel bad for them because whenever Taimur goes with his parents, the media reaches there to click his photographs. I want to urge media to not use the flash while clicking their pictures.” (Also Read: Taimur Ali Khan's 'Rakhi' Celebrations With Step-Siblings Sara, Ibrahim And Cousin Inaaya)
