For all the Bollywood freaks, the daily dose of their energy is the sabse chotu Nawab, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s heartbeat, Taimur Ali Khan. Whether anyone is having ‘morning sickness’ or ‘Monday blues’, it is little Tim who has the aptitude of turning them all into a happy one. Right from his first picture from the hospital that went viral until now, Taimur has always been the favourite of the camera lenses of the paps. In fact, we all have seen him growing ever since December 20, 2016, when he was born to his star parents.
And when Taimur is not in town and there is a barrier to everyone’s daily fix, we all miss him like how! Exactly this happened when Taimur Ali Khan came back in town after a long (like literally!) work-cum-leisure holiday in London with abba, Saif and ammi, Kareena. For the unversed, the family of three was in London for the past long months and they landed back a day before yesterday on August 21, 2019. And we couldn’t be merrier enough! So much so, that paps were stationed outside Saif and Kareena’s house and were glued so as to get clicks of Taimur as and when he comes around. And papa bear, Saif made an appearance with Tim, who could be seen enjoying his usual piggyback ride. But the incessant flashes and camera angles on them didn’t go down well with Saif. He couldn’t control his anger and yelled at the paps saying, “No, no not outside the house please, like we promised. In case you missed out on Taimur’s playful London vacation, let us tell you that this boy had so much fun. Not only he reunited with his cousin, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu a.k.a. Inni down there in the English countryside, he also had playdates with one of his close friends, Rannvijay Singha and Prianka Singha’s daughter, Kainaat Singha. Right from watering plants, feeding horses, casual evenings at the park, Tim did it all! Here you go with a few glimpses in case you happen to see them again! Coming to constant papping of Taimur, rumours were rife in April 2019, that Saif Ali Khan has filed a police complaint against the media stationed outside his house. To which, he had later clarified and informed that there was no police complaint, he only wants shutterbugs to be respectable towards the neighbours. An online portal quoted Saif as saying, “I did not initiate any police complaint against the photographers. Kareena and I live in a respectable residential area and are a part of the larger community, thereby we do also have a responsibility to emotionally support our neighbours when they feel a disturbance to them is being caused and to be fair, their sentiments are understandable.”
Of late, Saif has also raised his concern on using flashlights of the camera on Taimur and said that he might lose his eyesight if the photographers keep using it while clicking him. He had said, "Bas karo yaar, bachcha andha ho jaayega.” Later, he had elaborated on it and shared that he finds no wrong in standing up for the health of his family and in requesting the photogs to back off. He had also shared that he respects media and their fans who would want to know about their whereabouts, but he cleared that it should not affect the child. In Saif’s own words, “As media figures, we have to live with the attention, and we accept that. But our kids shouldn't be subjected to it." On the other hand, Kareena too had spoken about the matter in an interview with film critic, Anupama Chopra. She had quipped, “Because what am I supposed to go screaming, what am I supposed to do. So, it's like dangerous for us, the test is in us. The pressure is on Saif and me more than him. He is still growing up he is still small; he is registering that he's being clicked because they are calling his name. But the pressure is more on the parents because we are worrying constantly. It's up to us to give him a normal upbringing.”
