With her perfect blend of quirk and sweetness, Sara Ali Khan rules the hearts of her million fans. A name not known to many a few months ago, Sara swept everyone away with her infectious smile and gorgeous looks when she appeared on Koffee with Karan season 6 along with her father, Saif Ali Khan. Recently, her debut movie, Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath hit the silver screens acroos India on December 07, 2018, and she garnered praises from audiences and critics alike. Saif Ali Khan, being the proud father that he is, has been left spellbound and stumped with his daughter, Sara's performance. In an interview with Pinkvilla, when Saif was asked if he was surprised seeing Sara's temerity on the big screen, the Sacred Games actor replied, "Yes and no. The thought behind her shot is clear. It’s amazing. Way better than what I was."

Adding further about Sara's accomplishements and how proud he is, Saif retorted, "I’m so happy for her. This was her choice all the way. She chose this and made it happen. And I thought she was brilliant. A thinking actress who is expressive and inventive in every shot. I see a fantastic future for her. She is used to being good at what she loves, but I thank the people for welcoming her and giving her the acceptance that an actor needs."
Do you know that Saif was earlier hesitant to watch Sara on the silver screen. As per a recent media report, “He (Saif) is just petrified to watch Sara on screen. Kareena keeps urging him to watch Kedarnath. But, Saif keeps putting it off." When Saif was asked about the same in an interview, he had answered, “No I haven’t seen Kedarnath yet. But, I will very soon.”
But then his pictures along with his current wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan surfaced online wherein the duo were snapped outside the special screening of Kedarnath. It seems that papa let go of his jitters and finally decided to watch his daughter's debut and look, today he is so proud! In fact, Sara's stepmom, Kareena is also very impressed with the former, and so much so that Bebo has decided to throw a success party for Sara. An online media portal reported, "Kareena is planning to host a get-together next week. She was impressed with Sara's powerful performance in Kedarnath. With an impending entertainer in Simmba, Kareena thinks Sara has been judicious with her choice of movies and has the potential to make it big in the industry." The source further said, "Kareena Kapoor Khan will invite her and Saif's close friends to the do. She will personally be overseeing the arrangements for the bash."

We all know that Sara is the daughter of Saif and his ex-wife, Amrita Singh. But she shares an extremely cordial relationship with her stepmom. Talking ahout her step daughter to Mumbai Mirror, Bebo said, “I can only hope and pray for the best for her. I have always said this to Saif, Sara and Ibrahim that I can only be their friend, I can never be their mother because they already have an amazing mother who’s brought them up spectacularly. I’m meant to be their friend. I love them dearly and whenever I am wanted or my advice needed, I’m there for both at any point in their life.”
Coming back to Saif and Sara, the doting daddy was earlier nervous about latter's entry into the Hindi film industry. He had once said, "(I am) A little nervous. Fear is the most driving factor in the industry. I am not looking down on acting, it's just it is not the most stable profession. And everyone lives in constant fear. And there is no guarantee that despite doing your best, you will succeed. This is not the life, any parent would want for their children."
