[EXCL] 'Saiyaara's Alam Khan On Doing YRF Movie After 'Kota Factory', 'Fame Game Mei Padta Nahi..'

Alam Khan has been in the entertainment industry since he was 4 years old. He has given exemplary performances in shows such as Kota Factory, Chaman Bahaar, Laakhon Mein Ek, to name a few. Well, in Kota Factory, Alam as 'Uday Gupta' was the hero of the series, the actor got his first big leap with Yash Raj Films in Mohit Suri's directed, Saiyaara. Alam plays the role of a band manager, called 'KV' an honest friend to Ahaan Panday a.k.a 'Krish Kapoor'. He was called by casting director, Shanoo Sharma for the role for which he auditioned. It was loved by Mohit Suri, and then he received a YRF envelope. The actor shared if he found contentment with Saiyaara after Kota Factory.

Alam Khan exclusively reveals if he has found contentment doing his first Yash Raj Films after Kota Factory

The first thing that Alam did after being selected for Saiyaara was call his parents and send them a picture of the YRF envelope. He has been a die-hard fan of Mohit Suri's films since his childhood, with Murder 2 being his favourite. His character as 'KV' is shown to be bestie with 'Krish' (Ahaan) in the movie, who is supportive of his decisions. Now, the actor in an interview with BollywoodShaadis shared if he was satisfied with Saiyaara post Kota Factory. Alam said:

"Dekha jaye upar wale ne haath par salamat rakhi hai. Mei satisfied rehta hu. Kaam karte jana hai. Mei zyada fame game mei padta nai hu. Log tareef kar rahe hai. Film, show chali jaegi mujhe imandari se kaam karna hai. Mei focus karta hu kaam kitna imaandari se karu, phir logo ke haath mei hai. Jab log pyar dere hai lera hu."

For Alam Khan, working with Ahaan Panday was organic

Alam, as 'KV' in Saiyaara was given the brief by Mohit Suri to showcase himself as Ahaan's best friend. Alam's character had to feel what Ahaan felt in the movie. The actor credited his old bond of knowing Ahaan behind the chemistry both had on the sets that came out organically. The actor further shared how Saiyaara is a different Bollywood film and shared the recipe for the movie's success. In his words:

"Koi bhi cheeez imaandari se kari jaye toh imaandari se dil tak pahuchti hai. Humne koi marketing nai kia. Organically hit hui hai. Kahi interviews nai diye. Film release hone ke pehle kuch nai kia. Logo ko kahani, gaane pehle pasand aayi, film mei ruchi bani, interest aayi, film mei sabne imandari se kaam kia, achi film banane ki koshish kari. Mehnat se kaam karte thei Hum 12-14 ghante roz kayi din tak roz.. tab jaake jee jaan lagayi and film hit hui."

Alam does feel that everyone needs one friend like 'KV' in their lives and shared that the success of Saiyaara has been so immense that calls are not stopping from coming to him. He did share that his loved ones know that Saiyaara is a big feather on his cap. As someone who has been on the sets since his childhood, he prays to the Almighty that Saiyaara keeps earning in crores.
