Arbaaz Khan gave love another chance in his life as he tied the knot with renowned makeup artist, Sshura Khan on December 24, 2023. Ditching lavish wedding ceremonies, the couple celebrated their union in an intimate nikaah ceremony at Arbaaz’s sister, Arpita Khan’s home in Mumbai. For the unversed, the duo kept their relationship under wraps for the longest, before letting the world know about it. And now, Arbaaz’s father, Salim Khan opens up about the wedding.
In an interview with News18 Showsha, eminent screenwriter and Arbaaz Khan’s father, Salim Khan opened up about his son getting married for the second time with Sshura Khan. At a time when many nay-sayers are criticising the newlyweds for getting married, Salim befittingly replied how he finds such a decision completely normal and not a crime. Giving his blessings to Arbaaz and Sshura for their new beginnings, Salim Khan said:
“They decided to get married. Mere hisaab se, ye koi gunaah nahi hai. I am happy for him and I have given my blessings to the bride and the groom.”

Going further in the interaction, Salim Khan was asked whether his son, Arbaaz Khan had a word with him before taking the big step in his life. In response, the actor simply mentioned that his son is grown up and educated, and can take decisions for himself. Emphasising on his son’s happiness above all, Salim mentioned that Arbaaz didn’t require permission from him. Moreover, the senior screenwriter admitted his son informing about his decision to get married, which was fine with the former. In his words:
“I don’t think there was any need for a discussion. He is young, educated, and mature and can make his own decisions. There is no need for my permission. If he is happy then nothing else matters. He just mentioned that he was going to get married and I said that’s fine. I also feel that it’s better not to interfere in anyone’s life as it causes problems.”
In the concluding segment of the interview, Salim Khan talked about the low-key and intimate wedding ceremony of Arbaaz and Sshura. He mentioned how his son only invited his close friends and family members on his big day and everyone, including him were happy for the duo, who chose to start a new chapter of their lives together.

Taking to his IG handle on December 24, 2023, Arbaaz Khan dropped the first glimpses from his wedding with Sshura Khan. The couple looked mesmerising, as they opted for similar styles of floral-patterned outfits, from the collections of ace designer, Sabyasachi. Arbaaz looked handsome in a beige-toned floral coat with matching pants. Sshura, on the other hand, looked gorgeous in a pastel pink floral lehenga, styled with a golden-sequin blouse. She opted for her dupatta to be pinned over her head as a veil and looked stunning. A choker neckpiece, matching earrings and subtle makeup completed her look. Along with the pictures, Arbaaz wrote:
"In the presence of our loved ones, me and mine begin a lifetime of love and togetherness from this day on! Need all your blessings and good wishes on our special day!"
