Salman Khan has recently returned to television as the host of the popular reality show, Bigg Boss 19, because of which the Sultan actor is making a lot of headlines. Apart from the love, Salman Khan has often been caught in the middle of controversies and this time it's nothing new. Recently, the Dabangg director, Abhinav Kashyap said that the Khan family controls the industry, and the Dabangg actor has finally responded to the allegations against him.
In the recent Bigg Boss 19 Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Ikk Kudi actress, Shehnaaz Gill joined Salman Khan on the stage. The Punjabi actress was launched in the Hindi industry by Salman Khan, firstly through Bigg Boss 13 and then through the film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Talking about the same, Shehnaaz took the opportunity to thank Salman Khan and said, "Sir, aapne itnon ke career banaye hai." Hearing this, Salman Khan very humbly replied back to her saying that he is not responsible for making anyone's career. He said:
"Maine kahan banaye hain kisi ki career. Career banane waala toh upar waala hai."
Later, the Sikandar actor addressed the recent allegation made by Abhinav Kashyap on ruining careers and said that sabotaging anyone's career is not in my hands. He shared that people think he has sabotaged several careers, but he explained that if he could do that, he would sabotage his own career. In his words:
"Laanchhan bhi daala hai ki kitno ke dubaaye hai. Specially dubaane waale toh mere haath mein hai hi nahi. Lekin aaj kal sab chalta hai na ki career khaa jaayega. Kaunsa career khaaya maine? Par agar khau na toh main apna khud ka career khaa jaunga. Kabhi kabhi main complacent hojaata hun aur fir chodh deta hun aur fir vapas usko aapne grip main laane ki koshish karta hun."
Abhinav Kashyap is a filmmaker and brother of popular director, Anurag Kashyap. Abhinav directed 2010 film, Dabangg, with Salman Khan. Even though, their professional collaboration turned out to be a hit, their personal relationship went sour. For the second instalment of Dabangg, Abhinav didn't return as a director, which affected his career as well. After the conflict, Abhinav directed the film, Besharam, which failed to meet the expectations. In a recent interview, Abhinav called Salman Khan a gunda and mentioned that the Khan family controls the whole process in the industry. He also mentioned that his brother, Anurag Kashyap was dropped from Salman's film, Tere Naam.
Salman Khan is a popular name in the Bollywood industry. He made his acting debut with Biwi Ho Toh Aisi, but her breakthrough came with the film, Maine Pyar Kiya. Slowly and gradually, Salman Khan gave some iconic films like Hum Saath Saath Hain, No Entry, Kick, Wanted, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Bodyguard, Ek Tha Tiger and more. Apart from films, he gained wider popularity when he started hosting the reality show, Bigg Boss. Recently, he was seen in the film, Sikandar.
