According to a report by The Indian Express, Salman is not the only actor who will be hosting Bigg Boss season 19 and will be leading the controversial reality show. According to fresh updates, Bigg Boss 19 will air on the last weekend of August 2025, that is on 29th and 30th August 2025. Salman will host the show straight for three months. However, after his contract period ends, Karan Johar, Farah Khan, and Anil Kapoor will be given the responsibility to handle and host the show.

Bigg Boss 19 to have multiple hosts?

While on one side, Karan and Farah have handled specific segments of the show and spin-offs related to the franchise, there will be a grand change in the 2025 edition of Bigg Boss 19. It will air on Jio Cinema as well as on Colors TV. The makers are bringing in multiple hosts for the reality show's sets to introduce new energy and dynamics into the show's format. A source close to the production department shared:

"The makers are making this season as a digital-first property. This means the show will run simultaneously on TV and OTT; however, the fresh episodes will drop on Jio Hotstar first, and after one and a half hours, the same episode will appear on Colors TV."

These updates have been making waves on social media. However, an official confirmation from the broadcasting channel of Bigg Boss 19- Colors TV has not yet issued an official statement related to the same and has not given any confirmation related to the recent developments. However, the anticipation among the fans is very high, and they are all very excited to see the new format of the show, which is likely to gain a lot of traction. A new strategy will be implemented in the way Bigg Boss 19 will be broadcast.

The episodes will first be seen on JioHotstar before they air on TV. The digital approach to the same reflects on the makers wanting the content of Bigg Boss 19 to be consumed by a broader audience. Names of stars such as Apoorva Mukhija, Purav Jha, Raj Kundra, Lataa Saberwal, Ashish Vidyarthi, Gaurav Taneja, Chinki Minki, Krishna Shroff, Arshifa Khan, Tanushree Dutta, Sharad Malhotra, and Mamta Kulkarni reportedly have emerged. They are being considered for the lineup of the show.
