Bollywood actor, Salman Khan has frequently made headlines because of his personal life. His romantic relationships, many of which were controversial, have always been a hot topic for the media and fans. Among Salman's long list of ex-lovers, Somy Ali is one name that frequently appears in the headlines owing to her many allegations of abuse against the Bollywood superstar. Recently, the Pakistani star added another accusation to her long list, claiming that Salman had sent a 'kaamwali' to spy on her.
Recently, we stumbled upon an Instagram video that revealed Salman Khan's ex-girlfriend, Somy Ali, accusing the star of using underhanded tricks to spy on her. In the clip, the Pakistani alleged that her 'kaamwali,' Najma, had ironically also been Salman's parents, Salim and Salma Khan's maidservant. Talking about what the maid had revealed to her, Somy said:
"She told me that Salman had sent her to live with me in Vindhyachal to keep an eye on me. To who I speak with, in terms of male co-actors, who comes over to the apartment, what do I do all day, and I was like, you were sent to my apartment as a spy?"
Even more shocking than her initial claims was Somy Ali's revelation that her maid, Najma actually tried to intervene one day as Salman physically abused the actress. Talking about the traumatising experience, Somy said:
"One day, Salman was so physically abusive that Najma banged on the door and said, 'Bhai, aap please mujhe maaro par iss bacchi ko chor do.' My entire neck was black and blue. He was hand-slapping me on my neck."

When Somy Ali first spoke up about her allegedly abusive relationship with Salman Khan, some were skeptical, while others openly slammed her. The question on everyone's mind seemed to be why she had remained silent for all these years. Well, on January 6, 2023, the Pakistani actress finally responded to the same via an Instagram post. She posted a breathtaking picture of herself in a cream-hued lehenga and some exquisite jewellery. However, what caught everyone's attention was the caption of her picture.
Somy referred to the situation as a matter of life and death for countless men, women, and children. She further penned that her abusive relationship with Salman Khan isn't breaking news and was widely reported back in the '90s. The actress admitted that she was baffled by the fact that so many people were still unaware of her story. An excerpt from her painful note read:

"This is not breaking news by any means. Rummage through any tabloid or a film magazine from the early 90's to 1999 and you will read articles about Somy being physically abused by Salman. This is what truly baffles me as to why everyone is finding this as if it was never brought to light back in the 90's. I simply stopped talking about it the way I never brought up being a victim of childhood abuse. But, now there is a reason to bring it up and a reason prominent enough where it is a matter of life and death for countless children, women and men."
