‘Fan ho toh aisa!’ — this is the first thing that comes to mind when you see someone going all out to support their favourite star. With just days to go for the release of Salman Khan’s highly anticipated action film, Sikandar, fan excitement is soaring. However, one dedicated fan has taken his admiration to another level by purchasing tickets worth a whopping Rs. 1.72 lakh and distributing them for free!
Kuldeep Kaswan, a die-hard admirer of Salman Khan from Rajasthan, made waves with his exceptional gesture to support his favourite star. Ahead of the much-anticipated release of Sikandar, a video clip is circulating on social media where this ardent fan is seen handing out the film’s tickets, ensuring that as many people as possible get to witness Bhaijaan’s magic on the big screen. When asked if Salman had sponsored the tickets, the fan denied it, revealing that he has been doing this for years in various cities to celebrate the superstar’s films. Kuldeep explained:
"I keep doing something or the other for Salman Khan. On his birthday, I distributed food to the needy, and now I am giving away tickets. I bought around 800 tickets, spending almost 1 lakh 72 thousand, and I will give them to everyone.”
A few months ago, on Salman Khan’s 59th birthday, Kuldeep made headlines for distributing Being Human clothing to a long line of grateful recipients. In a conversation with Instant Bollywood, he revealed that he had spent Rs. 6.35 lakh on Bhaijaan's birthday and decided to spread happiness by distributing clothes to those in need. Holding up the hefty receipt from his purchase, he spoke passionately about his gesture. He said:
“We gifted them. Some are still left, and we will keep them in our hometown for the next 2-3 days. Being Human is doing great work in healthcare and education as an NGO, and we should support them. While we often purchase clothes from outside, I want to tell that when we purchase from the store, our money goes toward supporting such good causes.”
Explaining his choice to celebrate Salman’s birthday this way, Kuldeep praised Salman’s label, Being Human, for its charitable initiatives in healthcare and education. He emphasised that every purchase from the brand directly contributes to meaningful causes, making it more than just a clothing brand.
Salman Khan’s return to the silver screen after a brief hiatus has already created a massive stir in the industry. Adding to the excitement, Salman’s father, legendary screenwriter, Salim Khan, recently shared his positive first reaction to the film. The veteran actor praised Sikandar for its gripping storytelling and stated that its best part was that every scene would leave the audience wondering about what would happen next. Directed by AR Murugadoss, Sikandar marks Salman Khan’s reunion with producer, Sajid Nadiadwala after their 2014 hit, Kick.
