Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are the most loved on-screen jodis in Bollywood. Their film, Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai were superhits that everyone still loves. Recently, the famous filmmaker, Kabir Khan shared an interesting anecdote on how Katrina and Salman were not comfortable to shoot with each other for Ek Tha Tiger as they had then broken up.
Filmmaker, Kabir Khan opened up about Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan in the upcoming podcast on Mashable India. The filmmaker revealed that when they were shooting for the film, Ek ThaTiger, he had selected Salman for the role and was thinking of Katrina as 'Zoya'. Kabir stated that there was a time when the ex-couple had broken up and were not comfortable working together. He was quoted as saying:
"This was the stage where they had broken up and they weren’t that comfortable."

For those who don't know, Salman Khan is known for being a godfather to many new and talented faces in the industry. He was also the mentor of Katrina Kaif, and she made a huge name in the film industry because of Salman's encouragement. She learnt fluent Hindi and classical dance under his guidance. Soon, they fell in love during the process and dated each other for a couple of years.
Salman and Katrina dated each other for seven years. However, the news of their breakup left everyone shocked, and it was reported that Katrina Kaif had found love in Ranbir Kapoor. After dating him for a couple of years, Ranbir and Katrina had a bitter breakup. In 2016, a report in Hindustan Times revealed that there was a Salman Khan connection to it. And Katrina met Salman on the sets of Sultan.
After struggling to find love, Katrina found all the things, she wanted in Vicky Kaushal. The duo kept their relationship away from the media glare and ensured that their 'no pictures' get leaked from their dating phase. When reports of their relationship made rounds in 2020, many called it a PR stunt and just a buzz, but their fans were super sure that Katrina and Vicky were madly in love. In 2021, the couple turned their fans' speculations true by announcing their wedding.
Well, we are glad that Katrina still shares a cordial relationship with Salman Khan.
