Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding bash has been the talk of the town for more reasons than one. From the grand arrangement made at the Ambani residence in Jamnagar, Gujarat to the starry guest lists, nearly everything has swooned the hearts of millions. And amid all the clips showcasing pleasant moments, we came across a rather unusual moment between two celebrities.
While scrolling through our social media feed, we stumbled upon an unseen clip from Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding bash. It featured Bollywood’s bhaijaan, Salman Khan arriving at the ‘Mela Rouge’ event, and greeting Ranveer Singh and Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who were standing right beside him. However, what caught our attention was that the actor seemingly ignored Arjun Kapoor, who too was also present there. For the unversed, Arjun Kapoor is currently in a relationship with Malaika Arora, who was previously married to Salman Khan’s brother, Arbaaz Khan. Moreover, it appeared that out of awkwardness, Arjun, too didn’t proceed further and kept a safe distance from Salman, whilst he continued chatting with MS Dhoni’s wife, Sakshi Dhoni.

While they may share a cold war at the moment, it is quite a well-known fact in Tinseltown that Salman Khan had played a significant role in establishing Arjun Kapoor as an actor in Bollywood. In fact, Salman had launched Arjun with his debut, Ishaqzaade. Delving more, it was Boney Kapoor, in one of his interactions with IANS, who revealed how it was Salman who advised Arjun to take up acting in the first place.
Previously, on the chat show, Koffee With Karan 8, the host, Karan Johar quipped Arjun Kapoor about his plans of getting married to Malaika Arora, whom he has been dating for quite some time now. Ditching giving a direct and honest reply, the actor beautifully responded that he isn’t in a position to talk about it at the moment, since his partner isn’t present with him. In his words:
“I think at this point, and as much as I love coming on your show and being as honest and sincere about it, I think this is the part of my life that right now I want to take it as it comes. I don’t want to speak about anything specifically right now because I think that’s unfair to the relationship to talk alone about it.”

On the other hand, Malaika Arora, during an interaction with Farah Khan on the sets of the reality show, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 11, gave a startling response about the future of her long-standing relationship with Arjun Kapoor. When Farah asked whether there is any probability for Malaika to get married in 2024, the latter wittily remarked:
“Agar koi hai toh usse main shaadi karungi. Koi bhi poochega to main shaadi karlungi. Once bitten, twice very shy.”
