Salman Khan is considered the most eligible bachelor in Tinseltown, and there's no second thought about it. The superstar has been ruling the Hindi film industry since the 80s, and his stardom knows no bounds. Just like his films, Salman's personal life has always been the talk of the town, owing to his fan following. Despite the actor being 58 years old, women have been chasing him and falling for his dapper looks. Salman is one such actor in Bollywood who is loved by all age groups of men and women.
Over the years, Salman Khan has made headlines for his romantic relationships with many actresses, including Aishwarya Rai, Sangeeta Bijlani, Somy Ali, Katrina Kaif, Iulia Vantur, and others. However, the superstar parted ways with all of them for one reason or another. While his marital status continues to be single, there was a time when Salman confessed to getting very bored with sticking to one partner for a long time.

Once Salman Khan's on-screen ladylove, Bhagyashree, who worked with him in Maine Pyaar Kiya, spilled the beans on the former's personal life. Speaking to the YouTube channel, WildFilms India, Bhagyashree opened up about how she bonded with Salman while shooting for their 1989 film and revealed one of his statements that always stuck with her. She revealed that Salman once told her that he doesn’t want nice girls to fall for him because he thinks he isn’t a good guy either. She said:
“At that period of time as we got to know each other he made one statement which I think rings true. He said that, 'You know what? I don’t want nice girls to fall in love with me'. So I said, 'Why would you want to say that?'.”
The actress went on to elaborate on why Salman can never stick to one partner for a long time and shared that the latter gets bored very easily. Bhagyashree further shared that Salman told her that it was the reason why he never allowed anyone to come close to him. In her words:
"He said, 'Because I don’t think I am a nice guy. I don’t think I can stick with one person for a long time. I get bored very easily and till I get this under control, I would want people to stay away. So I don’t allow them to come close to me'."

Speaking along the same lines, Bhagyashree went on to reveal that women have been chasing Salman Khan, but the case was not vice versa. The actress added that her co-star has been protective about his family, and thus, he is also extremely protective about his women. Elaborating further, Bhagyashree said:
“I think with him it’s more the women who have been really after him than him being after any one of them. And like he has been protective about his family, I think he is also extremely protective about his women so I guess that sparks off possessiveness to another level which women today don’t like."
