Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are two of the most enigmatic superstars in Bollywood. The duo, who had started off their careers relatively close with one another, has never failed to keep their charm and performances intact even today. Moreover, despite starring in a number of films together, SRK and Salman have been known to share quite a sweet and spicy bond with one another. Well, for the unversed, during a significant time throughout the early 2000s, the two shared a cold war and didn’t speak to one another. However, over the years, things seem to have resolved between the two of them, and SRK and Salman are back as best buddies.
Did you know Salman Khan was the first one intended to purchase the lavish property, Mannat, which is now residence of Shah Rukh Khan? Well, in one of his previous interviews, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan-actor was asked about that one thing he didn’t have, which SRK has. To this, Salman immediately responded:
“That bungalow of his.”

Well, the interviewer was quite shocked with Salman’s response. However, the actor later offered an explanation and revealed that before Shah Rukh Khan purchased Mannat, the property was offered to him. However, he revealed that the final purchase wasn’t made from his side, since his father, Salim Khan felt that such a big mansion was of no use to him. Narrating more, Salman said:
“That had come to me when I was just started off. My dad said itne bade ghar mein karoge kya? I want to ask Shah Rukh itne bade ghar mein karta kya hai tu?”

Shah Rukh Khan had once graced the show, Dus Ka Dum, that used to be hosted by Salman Khan. Among various other interactions, SRK made some candid revelations about his career and struggles. He expressed gratitude to Salman Khan and his family for being a strong support for him often times. In his words:
“Maine sirf dhakke nahi khaaye hain, inke ghar ka khaana bhi khaaya hai. Salim uncle blessed me and I would say because I ate food at his home, I have become successful and have become Shah Rukh Khan.”

There is nearly a person who would be unaware about the two superstars, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan’s brutal fight back in 2008. The altercation took place at actress, Katrina Kaif’s birthday bash, wherein Salman had reportedly accused Shah Rukh of being selfish. Post that, the latter retaliated and made a rude remark on the former’s show, Dus Ka Dum. The arguments didn’t end there and apparently Salman even threatened to punch SRK on his face. As things escalated soon, it was Shah Rukh’s wife, Gauri, who immediately decided to leave the place with her husband.
