The first season of Bigg Boss was won by Rahul Roy, and Ravi Kishan was the runner-up. The first season also had Rakhi Sawant and Kashmeera Shah as some of the contestants. Coming to the second season of Bigg Boss, it was hosted by Shilpa Shetty and MTV Roadies 5.0 winner, Ashutosh Koshik had lifted the trophy of the season.
Ever since the boom of web series, the OTT version of Bigg Boss has also received a lot of love. The first season of the show, hosted by Karan Johar, was won by Divya Agarwal. Salman Khan, who didn't turn up as the host of the third season of Bigg Boss, will be returning as the host of the eighteenth season. The show is all set to premiere in October 2024. The first confirmed contestant of the show will be Isha Koppikar, while other contestants have not yet been confirmed. It is speculated that Shoaib Ibrahim, Sameera Reddy, Rekha, Dolly Chaiwala. Mr. Faisu might be part of the show.
However, the most popular season of the reality show was Bigg Boss 13. It is the most-watched series, with an average of 2.1-2.5 TRP every week. The season was won by the late actor, Sidharth Shukla. He created a huge name for himself through his fights with friend-turned-foe Asim Riaz and his love for his best friend, Shehnaaz Gill.
