Emotional fans flooded the comments section. One user wrote, "Sam, rest in peace. You are, for me, the best bass player I've ever seen in my life. I met LB in 2020 and was immediately stunned by his bass lines (especially on Boiler). You're an inspiration not only to me but to so many fans. It still hasn't sunk in that you're gone. It's a shame we won't see you in São Paulo playing the bass lines of Break Stuff. But I know you're in a better place, in eternal peace. Sam, you will never be forgotten, and your legacy will live on. I won't deny that I'm saddened by your loss, but I'm also happy because you made history. Rest In Peace Sam. Brazil loves you."
