Quite often, celebrities have proved their love for recycling their outfits and repeating it for a different occasion. Just like most of us, they love wearing their favourite outfits multiple times. After all, a perfect stylish look in your favourite outfit deserves to be seen more than just once, right? Be it Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sara Ali Khan, Gauri Khan or Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle putting the royal stamp of approval on outfit re-runs, celebs have inspired us to flaunt the outfits again from our wardrobes instead of worrying about 'I have nothing to wear'! South superstar, Samantha Akkineni has also proved her love for repeated outfits and dare to break the unwritten rule that celebs don't re-run their sartorial picks. It was on October 6, 2017, when Samantha had tied the knot with her Yeh Maaya Chesave co-star and an equally famous star in the South film industry, Naga Chaitanya. Samantha and Chay (as everyone fondly calls him) have been happily living their married life since then and are sheer goals!
Samantha Akkineni had picked an ivory Kanjeevaram saree for her traditional wedding with Naga Chaitanya, which she had paired with a red silk embroidered blouse. Samantha had repeated her wedding saree for Venkatesh Daggubati's daughter, Ashritha Daggubati’s marriage in 2019. This time, Samantha had paired her beautiful Kanjeevaram saree with a matching plain closed-neck full-sleeves blouse and had accessorised her look with a layered necklace, jhumkas and a bun tied with gajras. Needless to say, Samantha had stolen our hearts in her Kanjeevaram saree just like the first time at her wedding.

Sharing two pictures of Samantha Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya from their wedding in 2017, the designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee had written some details about the bride's outfit. Samantha Akkineni never fails to grab attention for her sartorial picks and her love for recycling outfits became more evident when she had repeated her Sabyasachi outfit at Rana Daggubati and Miheeka Bajaj's roka ceremony, and had aced it like a pro. For the roka ceremony, Samantha had made for a perfect bahu by accessorising her look with a sleek mangalsutra. Earlier, Samantha had complemented her look with an uncut diamond and emerald choker set.
Did you know Samantha Akkineni’s engagement saree was personalised to incorporate the milestones and special details of the #ChaiSam love story? Samantha’s Lovestory 2.0 lehenga was an ivory beauty by Kresha Bajaj and the combination of aari and zardosi embroidery on it had swooned us completely. Isn’t it amazing?
But Samantha Akkineni was trolled for her outfit picks post her wedding with Naga Chaitanya. Recalling the negative criticism she had faced for wearing a revealing outfit for the first time after marriage, Samantha stated in an interview with the Hyderabad Times, “I remember, the first time when I wore something revealing after marriage, I was trolled terribly and it was very, very hard. But I noticed that when I did it the second time, it was not so bad. It’s all about taking that first step. I’m not going to say that I did something brave. I was scared of the repercussions and of the trolling. But at the same, I told myself that things have to change and I’m going to do as much as I can to be a part of that change.” (Also Read: Six Bollywood Brides Who Donned Heirloom Bridalwear and Jewellery For Their Wedding Celebrations)
