Samantha’s debut film, Ye Maaya Chesave had not just proved a turning point in her professional life but personal life too. It was during the shooting of this film, she had met her soulmate, Naga Chaitanya, who had played the lead opposite her. During the course of shooting, the two had struck a great friendship and it was in 2015 when dating rumours of Chay and Sam had started surfacing. It had gotten more mileage when she had revealed that she had found her prince charming. After knowing each other for 8 years, the duo had tied the knot on October 6, 2017.

Ye Maaya Chesave was released in 2010 and completed 11 years recently and to celebrate the same, Samantha Akkineni shared an adorable video message. To mark the completion of her 11 years in the industry, Samantha took to her IG handle and thanked director, Gautham Menon and co-actor-hubby, Naga Chaitanya. She also thanked her fans for showering their immense love and support for her. Samantha captioned the video as “#11yearanniversary Thankyou @menongautham for seeing something in me… something that I really didn’t see in myself... Thankyou @ManjulaOfficial and Thankyou @chay_akkineni... and Thankyou to all of you reading this .. you have made me the happiest woman in the world.”
Samantha Akkineni is quite active on social media. A few months back, Samantha had hosted a ‘Post A Pic’ session with her fans and had shared a number of pictures from her personal life. When asked by one of her fans, which is her most memorable picture, the diva had posted an adorable picture with her hubby, Naga Chaitanya.
