Samantha Ruth Prabhu had been through a rough phase. First, her dream wedding with Naga Chaitanya ended in 2021, just four days before her fourth wedding anniversary. While she was getting back to her life and dealing with the big word — divorce, she got diagnosed with myositis. After which, Samantha took a break from acting. Now, the actress talked about her biggest dream of embracing motherhood.
Samantha has been trying to prove that she is a strong woman, but there is one topic that makes her weak in the knees and that is embracing motherhood. Recently, in an interview with Times Now, Samantha talked about motherhood and shared that she is looking forward to embracing this beautiful phase.

Samantha further added that she always wanted to settle down in her life. She even talked about age not being a constraint in her motherhood journey. She was quoted as saying:
"I don’t think it’s too late. I still have dreams of being a mother and yeah of course I would love to be a mother. I have always wanted to be a mother, it’s quite a beautiful experience. I am looking forward to it. People often worry about age, but I think there is no time in life when you cannot be a mother."
Samantha also talked about how her life changed after divorce and being diagnosed with myositis. She shared that she is in a happy space and is taking care of herself. Samantha shared:
"I'm in a very happy space right now. I know how to take care of myself and focus on what matters. I think I’m in a very good phase in life. I’m genuinely very happy and I feel I’m blessed to have the opportunity to live every day to the fullest and I think that I might not have been so grateful for an ordinary day before. But now I am!"
Things between Samantha and Naga Chaitanya were going smoothly. In fact, there have been reports that Samantha was planning to have kids just three months before announcing her divorce. In an interview with The News Minute, Neelima revealed that when she had contacted Samantha, she gave a condition to wrap up the film by August 2021, as she wanted to start her family and become a mother.
