The South Indian actress, Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s recently-released film, Shaakuntalam has failed to live up to the expectations of her massive fanbase across the world. The Gunasekhar directorial hit the theatres on April 14, 2023, and received not-so-impressive ratings from critics. While a series of media publications gave a rating between 2 to 2.5 out of 5 to Shaakuntalam, there’s no denying that Samantha’s acting was one of the few good things about the film.
Despite having a stellar cast of Dev Mohan, Sachin Khedekar, Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Ananya Nagalla, and many more, Shaakuntalam’s plot and storyline failed to create an impact in audiences’ hearts. However, luckily the painful reception of the film has been overshadowed by the announcement of Raj and DK’s web series, Citadel, which will be the first Indian instalment of the crime thriller by the same name in Hollywood. Samantha will be seen in action opposite Varun Dhawan.

From scoring 80+ marks in almost all her subjects to getting a perfect 100 in Mathematics has simply blown away everyone’s minds. However, what caught everyone’s eyes was the little remark that Samantha’s teacher had penned on the right-hand side of her mark sheet. In the note, the teacher lauded Samantha for scoring good marks in all the subjects and even told her that she was the pride of their school. The note can be read as:

For the unversed, Samantha Ruth Prabhu got married to Naga Chaitanya back on October 6, 2017, as per the traditional Hindu and Christian rituals. The couple used to rule a billion people's hearts with their mushy romance and happy married life. However, everything crashed in 2021, when multiple reports suggested that Naga and Smaantha’s marriage hit rock bottom. It was heartbreaking news for everyone who used to adore Samantha and Naga, as they were expecting to see them announce their first pregnancy. The ex-couple confirmed everything with a painful note that they shared on their respective social media handles stating that they’re no longer together, and requested everyone to respect their mutual decision of separation.
On the professional front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be next seen in the film, Kushi, alongside Vijay Deverakonda.
