The Family Man 2 actress has long been associated with spiritual leader, Sadhguru and has been following his path for years now. To begin her new journey with Raj Nidimoru, Samantha chose to get married at Linga Bhairavi Temple at Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Only 30 people, including family and close friends, were in attendance at Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Raj Nidimoru’s intimate wedding. A while ago, the couple’s close friend and designer, Shilpa Reddy, shared some unseen pictures from Samantha and Raj’s hush-hush marriage ceremony. Out of the many snaps, it was the special thali straight from the temple’s kitchen that caught our attention. A steel thali was covered with a banana leaf, and the food placed over it reflected Isha Yoga Centre’s strict adherence to sattvic and purely vegetarian food. The wedding food menu featured soft rice, dal, sabji made of bottle gourd and lentils, fresh salad, crisp vada and Tamil Nadu special purple rice sweet.

The wedding speculations involving Samantha and Raj began late at night on November 30, 2025. When the filmmaker’s former wife, Shhyamali De, shared a cryptic note on Instagram, it further fuelled the speculation. For the unversed, Shhyamali took to her Instagram Stories and shared a note. It was a quotation by the famous author, Michael Brooks. The note can be read as:

"Desperate people do desperate things."

However, the wedding was confirmed by a source. Speaking to Hindustan Times, the source shared that the wedding was held on the early morning of December 1, 2025. The source mentioned that there were only 30 people in attendance. The source was quoted as saying:

"The wedding happened at the Linga Bhairavi Temple inside the Isha Yoga Centre early morning. Samantha wore a red saree for the wedding."

Later, Samantha took to her Instagram handle and shared snaps from her wedding. The snaps featured the couple’s traditional wedding moments. In the first picture, the filmmaker was seen putting an exquisite diamond-shaped ring on Samantha’s ring finger. In the third snap, Samantha flaunted both her bridal mehendi and the ring as she held Raj’s arm tightly. The last picture featured the newly married couple who were seen walking hand-in-hand.

This wedding is a second marriage for both Samantha and Raj.
