One of the most popular actresses in the South film industry, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is a name that needs no introduction. An institution of talent, Samantha had made her acting debut with Gautam Menon’s Telugu film, Ye Maaya Chesave. In 2017, Samantha had got married to the love of her life, Naga Chaitanya, however, the two had parted ways in 2021.
After a lot of speculations about their separation, the stunning jodi of the glamour world, Samantha and Chaitanya had shocked their fans by announcing their mutual separation on October 2, 2021. They had issued an official statement on their respective IG handles and had penned their decision to part ways mutually.
In a recent interaction with the spiritual leader, Sadhguru, Samantha talked about the injustices of life. She talked about the various aspects of life with Sadhguru and also enquired whether one’s sufferings are the result of past karma. In her words:
“How much of one’s life is a result of their past karma? Are the injustices and unfairness that one faces in one’s life a result of their past karma, and if so, do you accept these injustices and find solace in the fact that the karma is being cleared, even though it might seem detrimental to our lives in so many ways…?”
Listening to her, Sadhguru labelled it as a ‘schoolgirl question’ and asked her whether she still expects the world to be fair. He went on to explain:
“By now, you should know the world is not fair. It will not be fair."
After her separation from Naga Chaitanya, Samantha had a tough time dealing with her emotions. In an interview with Filmfare, Samantha Ruth Prabhu had revealed that when she had started thinking about her separation from her ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya, she was worried about whether she would just crumble or die. However, the actress had added that she had found her true strength. Talking about the same, she had said:
"I know I'm still going to live my life and with all the issues that I now faced in my personal life, I was surprised at how strong I was. I thought I was a much weaker person. I thought that with my separation, I would crumble and die. I didn't think I was capable of being this strong...Today I'm very very proud of how strong I'm because I really didn't know I was."
On the work front, Samantha will be next seen in the movie, Shaakuntalam!
