Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya were once the most sought-after couples in Tollywood. The epitome of couple goals broke many hearts when they announced the news of their separation in 2021. And now, we got our hands on a picture, where Samantha was seen flaunting her old tattoo dedicated to her estranged husband, Naga Chaitanya.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu is in London, promoting her international series Citadel, starring Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden. In one of the pictures of the actress, she was seen flaunting the old tattoo on her rib that she got for her ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya. Samantha had a ‘Chay’ tattoo on the right side of her rib. Despite her separation from Chaitanya, Samantha still carries her tattoo and didn’t even try to hide it.

Samantha Akkineni made her acting debut in Gautham Menon’s romantic Telegu movie, Ye Maaya Chesave. It was during the shooting of YMC (Ye Maaya Chesave) that she met the love of her life, Naga Chaitanya, who had starred opposite her in the superhit film. On the sets of the film, love blossomed between them, and Samantha got the film’s initials, 'YMC' tattooed on the nape of her neck.
In 2015, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya’s dating rumours began, and when Samantha announced that she found her prince charming, the rumours got more mileage. The duo tied the knot on October 6, 2017, as per both Hindu and Christian rituals.

However, in 2021, rumours started cropping in that the power couple of Tollywood was having troubles in their marriage. And finally, four days before their fourth wedding anniversary, Samantha and Chaitanya released an official statement about ending their marriage, leaving their massive fanbase shattered.
When Samantha appeared in one of the episodes of Koffee With Karan 7, the host, Karan Johar asked her whether she and her ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya had hard feelings for each other, the actress confirmed it and said:
“There are hard feelings like if you put the both of us in a room you have to hide sharp objects. So as of now, yes. It's not an amicable situation right now. It might be in the future."
