South Indian actress, Samantha Ruth Prabhu announced being diagnosed with an autoimmune condition, Myositis, in October 2022. Since then, although she has been going through proper treatment, she also worked on back-to-back films and gave some power-packed performances. And recently, Samantha's manager mentioned that she would be taking a year-long break. Following this, she can be seen sharing pictures from her much-awaited vacations. However, now we stumbled upon a piece of news mentioning how her manager cheated her, leading to sleepless nights and heated arguments.
As per a report in BollywoodLife, when Samantha visited Hyderabad for a promotional event for her upcoming film, Kushi, she faced a financial setback of Rs. 1 crore due to her manager's mismanagement. It was also before she went to the US for her treatment. This kind of financial mishandling by her longtime manager gave Samantha sleepless nights and heated arguments. It was also because Samantha neglected all the cautionary advice her industry friends gave her regarding the manager. Thus, she is now searching for a trustworthy replacement from the Tollywood industry during this challenging period of her treatment.

Back on October 29, 2023, Samantha Ruth Prabhu had taken to her IG handle and announced being diagnosed with the autoimmune condition of Myositis. She dropped a picture of herself from the hospital, where she could be seen getting treated. Along with it, she expressed her situation with a long note. Following this, she faced many hardships but never lost hope. Recently, Samantha was selected to be the Myositis India Foundation's ambassador to raise awareness about this rare disorder for the country at large. The news was shared on the official Instagram page of the foundation with a caption, which could be read as:
“Thrilled to introduce the newest face of change! We’re excited to have Samantha Ruth Prabhu on board as the brand ambassador for Myositis India. Together, we’re stepping forward to raise awareness, inspire hope, and make a difference in the lives of those battling myositis. Join us on this journey of compassion and empowerment! Thankful to Dr Rohit Aggarwal from University of Pittsburgh for his immense support."

Samantha has always been vocal about her condition. Despite getting trolled for losing her charm, she always stood firm. Moreover, she remained quite open while sharing her troubles and hard battle with Myositis. A while back, she shared a cryptic post on her social media handle and once again proved herself to be a woman of steel. The note featured a picture message, titled the ‘Woman of Steel’, that elaborated on how there is a way to conquer every battle bravely in life. At the end of the note, Samantha penned a caption where she encouraged others suffering through tough challenges in life.
