However, the actress broke the internet for an entirely different reason recently when an old advertisement video of her resurfaced. Yes, Samantha, who made her acting debut in 2010, has not only featured in films and shows but has also done several ads. But what left netizens stunned about this specific video was just how different Samantha looked back then compared to now.
In the resurfaced advertisement, a younger Samatha appeared to be promoting a beauty product. The actress donned vibrant pink and yellow suits as she danced, smiled, and gave several expressions. However, fans weren't stunned by the ad's old-school cringe factor but Samantha's appearance. Netizens were in disbelief over how drastically different Samantha looked back then.

Netizens took to the video's comment section to express their shock over Samantha's changed looks. Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently sat down for an interview with Times Now. During the same, she was asked about her ongoing health condition. Samantha responded by saying that she wasn't in remission yet, but she was proud of her resilience in dealing with her health issues whenever they cropped up. When Samantha was told that she had every reason to be proud, the actress confessed that she was actually very insecure and said:
"I've never ever said I'm proud of myself in my life. I've always been uncomfortable with compliments… always insecure… I was filled with self-doubt, filled with insecurities. For me to be able to stand here today and tell you that I am proud of myself it has taken a lot a lot to get here and I don't think that I would have been able to get here without everything that life threw at me."
