Samantha Ruth Prabhu has never been scared to talk about the ups and downs she has faced in her life, whether that be related to health or personal betrayals. Recently, the Kushi actress opened up about one of her toxic relationships. In a heartfelt episode of her podcast, Take 20, Samantha spoke about the toxicity and how it was disturbing the peace that she had worked so hard to build.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu shared her unexpected and toxic relationship with something that many were able to relate with. Despite having a healthier life, building a routine that was focused on wellness and productivity, she could not stop herself falling into the loop of constantly checking her phone. She initially felt that she was doing her work on the phone but later she realised it was not work and constantly being on the phone was affecting her emotional stability. She spoke about how her screen time had become a source of stress. It had started disturbing her focus, peace and even took away her sleep. She called that relationship with her phone 'toxic' which was hard for her to break. She shared:
"I had made so many changes in my life, and I was pretty happy with the routine I had created for myself. The one thing that I couldn't control was this...Going to the phone, this relationship with my phone, which I was starting to question again, and this false sense of importance that It's my work and it has to be done."
During the candid conversation, Samantha Ruth Prabhu revealed the secret and effective technique to break free from the toxic relationship. She made a bold decision, which was a three-day silence treatment. It wasn't just a break, but a detox. For three days, she chose to go silent from everything, which included no phone, no communication, no eye contact etc. In her words:
"So I went on a silence retreat for three days without phone, with no communication, no eye contact, no reading, no writing, no stimulation of any kind. Your brain just comes down."
Samantha's relationship with the filmmaker, Raj Nidimoru has been making headlines since a while now. Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Raj Nidimoru first met during the making of The Family Man 2, where they started bonding. Their off screen friendship grew while working on the set of Citadel: Honey Bunny. Over time, people couldn't help but notice their chemistry when they were spotted on public events like temple visits, pickleball matches and more. While neither of them have officially said anything, there are reports suggesting that the couple might make their relationship official by the end of 2025.
Samantha was married to actor, Naga Chaitanya in 2017. However, their forever didn't last for long as they mutually decided to part ways in 2021. Despite this, she has remained focused on her growth and is loved and admired a lot by her fans for her nature.
