Pan-India actress, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is one of the most loved celebs around the globe. The actress, who has been going through a tough phase in her personal life, announced the news of being diagnosed with Myositis a few months back. For the unversed, it is a disease which attacks the muscles. The actress, who is currently undergoing treatment for the same made her first appearance at the trailer launch of her much-awaited film, Shaakuntalam.
Pictures and videos of Samantha from the event made their way to social media, where many of her fans hailed her spirit. However, one of the trolls called out the actress and wrote that the actress has lost all her charm after being diagnosed with myositis. Sharing pictures of Samantha from the event, the social media user named Buzz Basket wrote:

“Feeling sad for Samantha. She lost all her charm and glow. When everyone thought she came out of divorce strongly and her professional life is seeing heights, myositis hit her badly, making her weak again.”

However, the troll caught Samantha’s attention, and the actress didn’t let it pass without replying. Giving a befitting response to the user, Samantha revealed her ordeal and tweeted:
“I pray you never have to go through months of treatment and medication like I did .. And here’s some love from me to add to your glow.”
On January 9, 2023, Samantha made a stunning appearance at the trailer launch of her upcoming film, Shaakuntalam. She donned an ivory saree with a V-neck sleeveless blouse. She completed her look with square-shaped glasses and left her tresses open in loose curls. However, during the event, Samantha got emotional and was seen wiping her tears.

Earlier, in an interview with Suma, Samantha called out many media organisations, who categorised her disease as life-threatening. Talking about the same, the actress stated that the stage she is in is not life-threatening. She also stated that it is difficult for her, but she is not going to die.
Soon after the announcement of her diagnosis with the auto-immune condition, there was news afire which claimed that the actress had been contacted by her ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya, and his father, the supremely talented Nagarjuna, over her ill health. However, there had been no acknowledgement of the same by either Samantha or her ex-in-laws.
