In a video that recently surfaced online, Karan Johar can be seen talking about Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya's divorce. The host mentioned, "Recently, you and your husband parted ways". To this, Samantha stopped him and said, "Ex-husband". Karan then apologised and tagged Chaitanya as 'ex-husband'. He continued to say that he wouldn't want to encroach into the actress' personal life and ask why things happened like this.
Karan added that what had happened was the end of something and the beginning of something. Well, Samantha gave a fiery response and remarked that KJo had already asked her about the same, off the camera, and he wouldn't ask it in front of the camera. Samantha said:
"You already asked that off. You already asked that question, you mean, you're not gonna ask it in front of the camera."
Soon after the video surfaced online, netizens rushed to the comment section and slammed Karan Johar for treating outsiders in a bad way. Some more internet users praised Samantha Ruth Prabhu for the way she answered. One user penned, "Love how she shut him up." Another user commented, "He wasn't expecting that response."

The actress shared that they actually had hard feelings, and back then, if someone had put them in the same room, sharp objects should have been hidden. She also mentioned that things weren't at all amicable between them, but she wished to move on in the future.
Naga Chaitanya got engaged to Sobhita Dhulipala on August 8, 2024. The couple exchanged rings at the actor's Hyderabad home. If the reports are to be believed, the duo will get married in March 2025, and they are currently venue-haunting in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and even abroad.
