As per the reports, Samantha will be joining politics after her break. The actress has been showing her constant support to the people of Telangana and farmers on multiple occasions and even become the brand ambassador for the state's handloom garments. If the reports are to be believed, Samantha intended to be a part of the campaign activities on behalf of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS).

For those who don't know, it was back on July 13, 2023, when Samantha Ruth Prabhu hinted at taking a break from the entertainment industry. Taking to her IG handle, the actress dropped a picture of herself along with the filmmaker duo, Raj and DK and screenwriter, Sita Menon. Moreover, it was her caption that caught our attention. Sharing the photo, the actress had written:
"A break doesn’t seem like a bad thing at all when you know what’s coming @rajanddk @mensit The family I didn’t know I needed. Thank you for helping me fight every single battle and never ever giving up on me... I wish more than anything in the world to make you proud... Thank you for the role of a lifetime... i.e until you write me the next.”
