The actors got married back in 2017, and it was after a few years of their marital life that they called it quits. Naga Chaitanya never really talked about Samantha and his divorce, whereas Samantha had stated it was a bitter separation. Cut to now, Chaitanya is counting days to get married to the love of his life, Sobhita Dhulipala. And ahead of the same, Samantha's statement about 'spying' gave netizens something to talk about yet again.

Samantha will be next seen in Citadel: Honey Bunny, which will be released on November 7, 2024. Amid all this, a video of the actress has been shared on the discussion platform, Reddit. In the video, Samantha was asked if she had ever spied. To this, Samantha stated that she spied in the movie. Varun Dhawan, who will be seen with Samantha in Citadel: Honey Bunny asked her if she has spied in her real life. Samantha replied with a 'no' and stated that she wished to have spied earlier in her life.

As the video made rounds on social media, netizens started sharing their opinions on the same. Some of the social media users could relate to the actress, few others shared how Varun always instigates gossip. Meanwhile, some other internet users talked about Samantha and Chaitanya's separation and mentioned how the actress was blamed for the same, while the reason could possibly be infidelity on the actor's part.
One user penned, "We have got enough hints that her ex cheated on her and hence the divorce. Yet the misogynists still want to blame the woman since she initiated the divorce. Sigh!" A second user wrote, "She will never get over her ex." A third social media user's comment can be read as, "Same Samantha...Even I wish I would have spied."

Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu separated three years ago, and most of their photos with one another had been deleted by both. One of the photos of Samantha with Chaitanya was there on the actor's IG display, but it seems like he wanted to cut the last string with his ex-wife before his second wedding.
The photo was from 2018, wherein Samantha and Chaitanya were seen posing in front of a red car and it had a caption, that reads "Throw back...Mrs and the girlfriend." However, reportedly, on October 27, 2024, Chaitanya deleted the post from his social media handle. It's worth mentioning that Naga Chaitanya is all set to marry Sobhita Dhulipala, reportedly in the first week of December 2024.
